Two ways to use your voice
Voice mode
Open voice mode and just talk. When you pause, your message is sent, and your companion answers out loud. The mic waits while they speak, so you are not talking over each other.
Type and listen
Prefer typing? Text chat is always there, and replies can still be spoken, which works well with headphones on the go.
Your choice, every time
Turn spoken replies off with one tap and read instead. Turn them back on whenever you like.
Where the voices come from
Companion voices are produced by text-to-speech using voice models licensed, with consent, from professional adult voice actors we engage. Each companion keeps the same voice every time you talk.
Getting started
Pick a companion
Each companion page has a short hello in their voice, so you can hear them first.
Open a chat
Spoken replies are on by default. Tap the speaker to turn them off.
Tap the microphone
Voice mode uses your browser's speech recognition, so allow microphone access when asked.
